McEACHERN HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS, INC

McEachern High School Band Boosters, Inc. (the “Corporation”) is a registered, non-profit organization formed to take advantage of the many tax incentives that are available only to non-profit organizations, which are not otherwise available to the Booster Club.  Our purpose is to promote and support the educational opportunities provided by the John McEachern High School band programs including, but not limited to, marching band, concert band, color guard, winter guard, drum line / percussion, jazz bands, ensembles, and leadership training.

The objectives of the Corporation include raising funds (cash, goods, and services) for the establishment of an endowment fund that will provide a constant and ever-increasing income stream to the booster club and for providing additional funding that will be passed directly into the band program.

The Corporation will accomplish its objectives by focusing its efforts on three major areas:  special events, sponsorships, and group concessions.  Special events will be used to generate funds by capitalizing on the facilities available here at McEachern High School.  Sponsorships include corporate donations and support from alumni.  Group concessions include working concession stands at special events and at Atlanta’s major entertainment venues such as Phillips Arena and The Georgia Dome.  Each of these three major areas will be led by appointed chairpersons in charge of the respective fund raising activity and supported by a committee assembled from band parents and other volunteers.

With cooperation and support from students, parents, alumni and others in the community, the McEachern High School Band Boosters, Inc. will establish a legacy that will benefit the band programs now and for years to come.
