Marching band
The Award winning McEachern Marching band is a staple of excellence in the Powder Springs community. This Ensemble often performs in the the community, at all football games as well as parades and marching competitions.
Concert Bands
The McEachern Concert Band Program consist of 3 ability-based ensembles that all meet during the day. Students are placed in each band based on audition. This ensures that every student is met with her proper instruction.
Jazz Band
The McEachern Jazz Band is an ensemble that meets after school and is open to all students who wish to participate. Students in this ensemble have the ability to work on improvisation, instrument doubling and composition. The Jazz band often performs in the community and at school events.
Guard Program
The McEachern High School Color Guard combines dance, athleticism, and theatrical performance to create stunning visual art. As a dynamic section of the Marching Band, members master specialized equipment like flags, rifles, and sabres. The team performs at varsity football games, pep rallies, and regional marching band competitions throughout the fall season. In the winter and spring, they transition to indoor Winter Guard competitions to showcase more intricate choreography. This program builds strong bonds, discipline, and leadership skills while fostering a passionate community of performing artists.
